More than 2 days before the Event Date10% of Total Booking Amount + applicable taxesRemaining eligible amount refunded
Within the last 2 days before the Event Date30% of Total Booking Amount + applicable taxesRemaining eligible amount refunded

Important Interpretation

For clarity:

A. Cancellation more than 2 days before the Event Date

If the User cancels the booking more than 2 days before the Event Date, 10% of the Total Booking Amount plus applicable taxes shall be treated as non-refundable.

The remaining eligible amount shall be refunded to the User.

B. Cancellation during the last 2 days before the Event Date

If the User cancels the booking within the last 2 days before the Event Date, 30% of the Total Booking Amount plus applicable taxes shall be treated as non-refundable.

The remaining eligible amount shall be refunded to the User.

3. EXAMPLES OF CANCELLATION CALCULATION

Example 1 — Cancellation more than 2 days before Event Date

Suppose:

Total Booking Amount = ₹1,00,000

Cancellation is made more than 2 days before the Event Date.

Non-refundable amount: 10% = ₹10,000 Applicable taxes on the cancellation charge: as applicable Remaining eligible amount: refundable

Therefore, the User will receive the eligible balance after deduction of the applicable non-refundable amount and applicable taxes.

Example 2 — Cancellation within the last 2 days

Suppose:

Total Booking Amount = ₹1,00,000

Cancellation is made within the last 2 days before the Event Date.

Non-refundable amount: 30% = ₹30,000 Applicable taxes on the cancellation charge: as applicable Remaining eligible amount: refundable

Therefore, the User will receive the eligible balance after deduction of the applicable non-refundable amount and applicable taxes.

4. REFUND PROCESSING TIME

After a cancellation has been successfully accepted and the applicable refund amount has been calculated, the eligible refund will generally be processed within:

5–7 Working Days

The refund will normally be processed through the original payment method used for the booking, unless otherwise communicated by Weddingpoint.

The actual time taken for the refund to appear in the User's bank account, card, UPI account, or other payment instrument may depend on the relevant bank, payment gateway, card network, or financial institution.

Weddingpoint shall not be responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or financial institutions after the refund has been successfully initiated by Weddingpoint.

5. TAXES AND OTHER APPLICABLE CHARGES

Applicable taxes shall be handled in accordance with applicable law and the nature of the transaction.

Where this Policy states “10% + applicable taxes” or “30% + applicable taxes”, the applicable tax component shall be calculated and applied as legally required.

Any government taxes, payment-processing charges, transaction charges, or other amounts that are legally non-refundable or have already been incurred may be treated separately where applicable and where legally permissible.

6. CANCELLATION REQUEST DATE AND TIME

The applicable cancellation period shall be determined based on the date and time on which Weddingpoint receives the User's valid cancellation request through an authorized cancellation channel.

A cancellation request shall not be considered complete merely because the User has attempted to submit a request. The cancellation will be effective once the request is successfully received and acknowledged/recorded by Weddingpoint.

Where there is a dispute regarding the cancellation time, Weddingpoint's booking and communication records may be used to determine the applicable cancellation period, subject to applicable law.

7. CANCELLATION OF INDIVIDUAL SERVICES

Where a User has booked multiple services under a single event booking, such as:

Venue Food Decoration Makeup Photography Entertainment

the cancellation of one individual service may be subject to the applicable service-provider conditions and the overall booking terms.

Weddingpoint may calculate the applicable refund separately for the cancelled service(s), where operationally and contractually appropriate.

8. PARTIAL CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION

A request to remove or modify an individual service, reduce guest count, change the food plate, change the venue, or otherwise modify a confirmed booking may not automatically be treated as a complete booking cancellation.

Such requests will be reviewed based on:

Time remaining before the Event Date; Availability; Service Provider terms; Amount already paid; Services already arranged; Applicable cancellation charges; and Operational feasibility.

Any applicable refund or additional payment will be communicated to the User before the modification is finalized, where reasonably practicable.

9. CANCELLATION BY WEDDINGPOINT

Weddingpoint may cancel a booking in circumstances including, but not limited to:

Service Provider becoming unavailable; Venue becoming unavailable; Operational inability to fulfil the booking; Fraudulent or unauthorized booking; User violation of applicable terms; Non-payment or payment failure; Safety or security concerns; Force majeure circumstances; or Other circumstances beyond Weddingpoint's reasonable control.

Where Weddingpoint cancels a booking for reasons attributable to Weddingpoint and a refund is legally or contractually due, Weddingpoint will process the applicable eligible refund in accordance with the circumstances of the cancellation and applicable law.

10. SERVICE PROVIDER CANCELLATION

Weddingpoint may coordinate bookings with independent Service Providers.

If a Service Provider cancels or becomes unavailable, Weddingpoint may, where reasonably possible:

Attempt to arrange an alternative Service Provider; Offer an alternative service or venue; Modify the booking based on availability; or Process an applicable refund where the booked service cannot reasonably be provided.

Any refund will be determined based on the affected service, amount paid, applicable contractual terms, and applicable law.

11. FORCE MAJEURE

Weddingpoint or its Service Providers may be unable to perform or may need to cancel/reschedule an event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters Flood Earthquake Fire Severe weather Government restrictions Public emergencies War Civil unrest Epidemics or pandemics Transportation disruptions Major infrastructure failures Other events beyond reasonable control

In such circumstances, Weddingpoint will make reasonable efforts to assist the User with rescheduling, alternative arrangements, or applicable refunds, subject to availability, third-party commitments, amounts already incurred, and applicable law.

12. REFUND EXCLUSIONS

Except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed by Weddingpoint, the following may not be refundable:

Applicable non-refundable cancellation charges; Services already fully performed; Third-party charges that are legally or contractually non-refundable; Amounts already incurred for customized goods/services; Certain transaction/payment charges where applicable; Other amounts expressly identified as non-refundable at the time of booking.

13. EVENT-DATE CANCELLATION

If the User cancels the booking on the Event Date, such cancellation shall be treated as a cancellation within the last 2 days before the Event Date.

Accordingly, 30% of the Total Booking Amount plus applicable taxes shall be non-refundable, and the remaining eligible amount shall be refundable, subject to the exclusions and conditions stated in this Policy.

However, where services have already commenced or have already been substantially performed, additional deductions may apply where legally permissible and where such amounts have been disclosed or contractually agreed.

14. NO-SHOW

If the User or the User's guests do not attend the event without formally cancelling the booking, the booking may be treated as a No-Show.

A No-Show may not automatically qualify for a refund and may be subject to the applicable cancellation terms, Service Provider commitments, and amounts already incurred.

15. GUEST COUNT CHANGES

Cancellation of a booking and an increase or decrease in Guest Count are separate matters.

If the actual Guest Count increases on the Event Date, Weddingpoint's Additional Guest Policy shall apply.

Weddingpoint may accommodate up to a maximum of 30 Additional Guests at a time, subject to venue capacity, food availability, service-provider capacity, and operational feasibility.

Additional Guests must be paid for separately at the applicable rates.

Accommodation beyond 30 Additional Guests is not guaranteed and may require separate approval.

Where possible, refunds will be made to the original payment method used by the User.

Weddingpoint may request additional information where necessary to process a refund securely.

The User must provide accurate payment/refund information where requested.
